Formula Bench is a formula recall-and-application engine built for trigonometry, algebra, and physics — the subjects where students don’t just need to remember a formula, they need to know which one to reach for and how to actually use it.

Instead of hunting through a scientific calculator or flipping to the back of a textbook, students pick a formula, select what they’re solving for, and work through labelled input fields built for that exact calculation.

How it works

Every formula runs through the same three-stage engine:

• Recall — see the formula cold, no hints
• Apply — plug in known values and solve for the unknown
• Mixed drill — face a shuffled set of problems and identify which formula applies before solving it

What’s covered

The formula bank spans:

• Trigonometry — Pythagorean theorem, SOH-CAH-TOA, angle sum, triangle area, sine rule, cosine rule
• Algebra — y = mx + c, gradient, the quadratic formula, simple and compound interest, difference of squares, (a+b)² expansion, distance-rate-time
• Physics — speed, density, F = ma, W = Fd, kinetic energy, potential energy, Ohm’s law, power, wave speed

Each formula is tiered by difficulty, and physics problems come with gravity pre-filled at 9.8 m/s² but editable, since curricula vary.
